We keep night crawlers (dew worms) in stock right at the camp. This saves you or me the trip to the bait store in town. You can buy some to start you out when you first arrive here. Our crawlers are packaged 2 dozens per box and at present sell for $6.00 per box, tax included.

If you prefer, you can buy your crawlers at Pit's Bait Store which can be contacted at 705-864-0541.

If you want a flat of crawlers (250 or 500), please call Pit's Bait Store and ask to have the worms ready for you on the day of your arrival. You can then pick them up before you go to the cabin.

You can also bring your own crawlers from home. In that case be sure to pack them in artificial bedding. Canada Customs does not want you to bring natural soil across the border.

Crawlers are our most popular live bait for walleyes and for perch. In our experience, crawlers work as well or better in our chain of lakes than any other live bait. Click here for more fishing tips.
