The Lakeside Cabins
at Chapleau Ontario

The Canadian border has been opened to U.S. citizens. As of August 9th U.S. travellers who have had a full course of a COVID-19 vaccine are again allowed to drive into Canada. No need to quarantine.

To drive into Canada, you must live in the U.S., have allowed at least 14 days to pass since your second dose of the vaccine and show proof of a negative test for COVID-19 that's no more than 72 hours old.

Please note that as U.S. Residents you have to pre-register on the ArriveCan website before leaving home, to make the border crossing smooth and easy. Start by registering at this link if you have not registered already.

All of our fishermen from the United States found crossing back into the USA normal and easy and without delays.

Please note that no live bait can be brought across the border at this time. Check here what we suggest.
